(A) Orange peel can improve the quality of the soil when watering flowers
If we use tap water to water flowers for a long time, or always apply chemical fertilizers to the soil, over time, the soil in the pot will slowly alkalize, the quality decreases, but also easy to clump. Clean the orange peel, put it in a container with rice water, and soak it for about 3 days. The soaked and fermented orange water is acidic, which can neutralize the alkaline components in the potting soil, make the soil weakly acidic, improve the permeability of the potting soil, increase the oxygen content and improve the condition of the potting soil clumping, which is quite effective for acid-loving flowers.

(B) Orange peel to make enzyme water
Chop the washed orange peel and put it into a plastic bottle, the amount of orange peel is about 1/3 of the bottle capacity, then add 90% of water, then tighten the cap and put it in a warm and ventilated place to ferment. Every half month, open the lid and release the gas produced by fermentation. Orange peel enzyme water can be used after about 2 months in the warm season and after about 3 months in other seasons. To use, we dilute the orange peel enzyme water and tap water in the ratio of 1:20 and pour it on the rhizomes of the flowers. Orange peel enzyme water is very beneficial to promote the growth of flowers.

(C) Use orange peel as nutrient soil
Take an old flower pot, put a layer of garden soil at the bottom, add crushed orange peel on top, followed by garden soil and some rotten vegetable leaves, fill it layer by layer in this way, and finally seal the top with garden soil and water thoroughly. If necessary, add a small amount of insecticide, seal the pot with a plastic bag, and put it in a warm and ventilated place, it will rot completely in about six months. Using orange peel nutrient potting soil in the bottom of the pot as a basic fertilizer for flowers works well.

In the process of home potted flowers, you will often see a lot of dust on the leaves of flowers, especially monarchs and other green plants. Use orange peel soaking water to clean flower leaves, in addition to cleaning the dust on the surface of the leaves, but also to remove the scale, impurities, and stagnant nitrogen on the leaves, the leaves will be more oily green, fat, vigorous. In addition, since orange peel produces an odor that is very unpleasant to pests, plants cleaned with orange peel water can deter some pests.
