In the waters of the lotus pool, in the fragrance over the damp earth, in the reflection of the lush green leaves, the Lotus Goddess whispers with her animal companions. The lotus blossoms beautifully in the breeze, and the sounds of the water waves stirred by the koi fishes bring healing to us. The voice of the Lotus Goddess says that when we spend too much time and energy focusing on our goals, we overlook and miss many of the beautiful things that happen along the way. When we rush forward with the belief that we can accomplish everything, we need to be as calm and steady as a small snail. Putting too much pressure and stress on ourselves does not help progress, it hinders it. Trust in our own pace and process and enjoy the moment. Use our time wisely, make a reasonable plan, and schedule time for our daily progress towards our goals.

Proper time management will allow us to accomplish everything and fill us with confidence and joy. Take a deep breath, feel the fresh air in your nostrils, breathe in energy and awareness, and exhale stress and tension. We may ask ourselves what we want to do at this moment. Let go of the past, don't be afraid of the future, focus on the present, every progress is created through action. There is nothing wrong with pursuing life goals, but when we dwell on the past or focus too much on the future, we sacrifice the quality of life in the present. We create and carry worries and tensions in our minds. Many years ago this song was so popular that it was sung by everyone in the streets. The song's lively melody and lively lyrics are a metaphor for the tenacious spirit of people in everyday life who are determined to pursue their goals despite hardships. The snail, a cute little elf, is brown all over, and at a rough glance, it looks like an insignificant little grain of earth. The snail is a representative of very hard to use all their own to face the difficulties of more powerful than their own, the snail although crawling more slowly, but always crawl hard with a strong belief, it is not to hide in the shell, it is to protect themselves, in order to move forward to a greater goal. 


The life span of a snail is usually 5 to 6 years. In uncomfortable living conditions, the life span of snails will be shortened. Arboreal species are brightly colored, while the ground-dwelling ones are usually close to the color of the land and usually have stripes. The African genus of crystal snails is the largest in size, mostly exceeding 20 centimeters. The snail is the most dentate animal in the world. Although its mouth is about the size of a pinhead, it has more than 25,600 teeth.

An old fable says that a frog and a snail accidentally fell into a dried well at the same time. The snail crawled much more slowly than the frog, but it kept climbing upward moment by moment. The frog climbed faster than the snail, but it stopped climbing. The frog thought: "I now take a nap before climbing the well, and I might even be faster than the snail". So, the frog slept a lot. The snail did not stop climbing up. Finally, the snail climbed out of the well, the frog is still sleeping at the bottom of the well. The fable cautions us not to procrastinate in doing things, dragging, in the end, can only waste the precious time of life. We will not know the experiences of the snail's life, but we can see the shining footprints left by the snail, representing perseverance and self-improvement.

Daniel recalls an incident from his childhood when a naughty Daniel was treading water in the yard with an umbrella on a stormy day. Daniel saw a large brown coffee-colored snail under a bay tree in the corner of the yard. The large snail had laid many snail eggs, which were white, somewhat transparent, brightly colored, and very small. Daniel used an umbrella to protect the snail and the snail eggs from the rain, but he got soaked and was reprimanded by his mother when he returned to his own room. Daniel was so aggrieved that he ran out of the room and back into the yard where he found the snail and the snail's egg, and he remembered that he cried for a long, long time at that time. Suddenly, he felt the rain stopped, he opened his teary eyes, and a figure appeared beside him, it was his mother. His mother held an umbrella in her hand to protect him from the rain.

Daniel looked at the umbrella and instantly understood that he was a little snail, and his mother and the umbrella were the snail's shell, sheltering him from the wind and rain, and when the snail was exposed to the wind and rain, it could shrink back into the tiny shell, and even if it cried, it cried in the shell. And that shell, the shell of love, the mother's love, is the hardest and strongest shell in the world. Love is the most powerful force in the world, love is great, being loved is happy, mother, is our shelter, is the cradle of our growth. Because of our mothers' company, we were no longer alone, because of our mothers' tolerances, we were no longer capricious. When the storms came, when the setbacks came, when the hardship came, we didn't be afraid, because there would be mothers' loves to support a blue sky for us.

Mothers' loves were the supports when we fell, a breeze to wipe away our tears when we were in pain. Mothers' loves were like an idyllic poem, far away and pure, mothers' loves were like a landscape painting, leaving a natural freshness, mothers' loves were like a song of pure emotion, melodious, mothers' loves were like a warm spring breeze, bringing spring lights. Mothers' loves were the earnest expectation of our growth, mothers' loves were like a lifetime of companionship. Mothers' loves were like the laughter of a lifetime together, mothers' loves were the wisps of longing that wander the world. Years later, Daniel recalled that day when tears accompanied by rainwaters soaked his mother's clothes, and he said that his only thought at that moment was to be a small snail loved by his mother for the rest of his life.

In the morning, when Daniel went to school, he deliberately looked at the wall of the front door again. The small flowers on the vines of the lovely plants on the wall blooming beautifully in the warm morning sunlight. He found that the snail on the wall a few days ago was gone, he wondered if it died and fell to the ground, but he searched for a long time on the ground, but there was no trace of it. When Daniel was depressed, he inadvertently looked up and saw that the snail had climbed to the top of the wall nearly three meters high and was still alive. Daniel's depressed heart was enlightened, he was curious, in this drywall, they are how to re-energy to continue to climb up?

When snails hibernate in winter or summer, the mucus secreted by the foot glands dries up and forms a film at the mouth of the shell, sealing the body tightly and breaking the film when the external environment is suitable.
