The Seagulls and the BoatPainted by dawnxisoul393

The sea turned up layers of white waves, rolling forward, pushing the shore reefs, beaches, turning up a thousand "snow". The sea breeze was getting stronger and stronger, and the sound of the waves was whistling and roaring. Those large and small reefs in the sea, the wind blowing, the waves lapping, but still standing, towering upright. We deeply felt that even if there was no wind or rain, the undercurrents contained in the sea were constantly surging. The sea, we were stunned by your great power. Standing quietly on the beach and painting, we let our bodies and minds be immersed in the powerful sea breeze and in the sound of the waves.

The sea, probably the curly hair and long beard of Poseidon, the god of the sea, was so vast and boundless. Poseidon's mood was sometimes good, sometimes bad. When good, his curly hair and long beard would gently move and let the sunlight gild them with a layer of gold foil.

Legend has it that Poseidon's mount is a golden chariot driven by a white horse, and when he gets angry sea monsters will appear in the sea, when he swings his trident, not only can easily raise huge waves, causing storms and tsunamis, sinking the continents, breaking heaven and earth, but also can smash everything to pieces, and even trigger a major earthquake. When his chariot traveled on the sea, the waves would become calm and followed by dolphins around. Therefore, Greek seafarers and fishermen near the Aegean Sea worshiped him greatly. Poseidon was the son of the Titan god Kronos and Rhea. Since Kronos feared that his children would overthrow him, each child was eaten by Kronos at birth. Only the youngest, Zeus, was replaced by Rhea with a stone and was able to escape. Later, with the help of Zeus, Kronos spat out all the children in his womb, Poseidon being one of them. In the crusade against Kronos, Cyclops helped Zeus make thunder and lightning and built the trident for Poseidon, who later won the lottery of managing the ocean and became the god who ruled it. Poseidon often sat on a carriage driven by a bronze hoofed golden horse, broke rocks with his trident, and watered the earth with clear water flowing from the cracks to give farmers a good harvest, so Poseidon was also known as the god of the harvest. Although he has a place on Mount Olympus, most of the time, he lives in a magnificent palace in the deep sea. His sacred animal, the dolphin, represents the serenity of the sea and Poseidon's gracious divinity, so Poseidon can bring wind and rain when he is gentle.

The sea had the momentum of the iron horse, the sea had a dragon leap of passion, but the sea also had a moon-like tenderness, motherly heart. The sea also had a lyrical color, overflowing with poetry. The silvery-white seagulls, hazy reefs, and beaches made us feel like we were in a dreamy mirage. It was the great motherly love of the sea that conquered us, it was her majesty, her tolerance that struck our humble souls. We fantasized that we had become the fish in the water, playing in the vast bosom of the sea, we fantasized that we had become the rocks in the sea, receiving the baptism given to us by the sea, we fantasized that we had become the shells on the beach, weaving beautiful dreams. Looking at the blue sea, like a blue satin spread from the foot, spreading to the distant sky, broad, vast, let people breath out the turbid breath in the chest, open-minded.
